Meet “Art Dude Creative” Joe Smith

By Sheri Oneal

I recently had the opportunity to shoot some corporate images of Joe Smith, the creator behind “Art Dude Creative.” Joe has been a friend since he moved back to town several years ago and we have had the opportunity to work on several projects over the years including Comfort U and Rosie Posie kids clothing. Joe also built my company web site and completely customized it to work the way I wanted it to, no flash, quick loading images and easy to navigate. I have total control over the back end so I can add , change and edit any content whenever I want. Perfect for someone like me who is constantly changing images on my site. Joe was so easy to work with, he understood what I needed and created an end product that was above what I ever expected.

We started by setting up in Joe’s living room. I love taking environmental images of people and wanted to capture Joe in his own surroundings so he would feel comfortable in front of the camera. The next few images were taken in his dining room and the last was an overview of Joe’s office and work area. We did a few images of Joe messing around in a leather jacket just for fun because I wanted to capture his playful personality.
